The highest priority and sole purpose of the United States military is to protect the United States and its citizens from anyone or anything that would seek to destroy or tear it down. Therefore, Iran must not get a nuclear weapon. Nuclear weapons are extremely destructive and historically used as a deterrence to other countries, but the Iranian regime knows no such boundary. The Iranian regime has stated their goals are to destroy Israel and the United States, not to protect themselves or the Iranian people. It is often true the hardest decisions are the most critical ones a person can make, and President Trump was faced with two options. Option one was stay out of the Israel / Iran conflict and risk Iran gaining a nuclear weapon, option two was as Trump chose; use the United States military to ensure Iran does not achieve nuclear weapon capabilities. The tough choice was made with the focus on making sure America and our allies stay safe from an unrestrained nuclear Iran, an Iran that would most assuredly strike against Israel and the United States. The United States military’s power was brought to bear with the sole purpose of ensuring Americans stay safe. The objective of the President and his team is to keep Americans safe and support our allies as that support continues to keep Americans and even the world safe. If obliterating Iran’s ability to enrich Uranium is the solution to keeping nuclear weapons out of terrorist hands, then that was the necessary step the President had to make, despite the naysayers. The tough decisions have to be made, and America comes first no matter how hard that may be sometimes. Thankfully, the President’s swift action and steady resolve along with the magnificent display of power by the United States military has brought peace and at the very least temporary stability to the middle east. “We the People” have proved throughout the pages of our country’s history that we never back down from a fight and that peace and freedom are our highest aspirations. When the leadership of our country displays strength coupled with the desire for peace, our nation will see the best possible outcome in our economics, our foreign relationships, and the preservation of our independence and freedom. The support of “We the People” for President Trump is as crucial now as it was when we elected him, President. Those that are seeking to topple our country will fight against every decision that protects us. We must fight back by taking a stand and making sure President Trump and every other elected official knows where we stand. When it comes to conflict, the decision is not always easy, but it is necessary. If we don’t stand, we will fall, so stand we must!
