“We the People,” as the boss of Congress, are making it clear, we want waste, fraud, and abuse weeded out of government spending. We accept legitimate spending needs, but the amount of ridiculous spending and waste we see must stop, now!
Congress wakes up every day faced with one critical question. “Will I vote in a way that benefits my constituents, or my donors?” Sadly, we can see how many members of Congress chose to answer that question the wrong way. When “We the People” need them to vote yea, they vote nay, and when we expect a no, they say yes. They then proceed to stand in front of the news and tell us how complicated it is in D.C., and how what they have done is best for us; we should re-elect them. But we have proof in their voting record, and the state of the nation’s economics. It’s easy for both parties to blame each other for all the failures and shortcomings of Congress, but for years, up until now, both parties have played the blame game and ridden the re-election rollercoaster. Once a member of Congress has served one term, “We the People” know exactly where their allegiance resides. The question we must answer is “What will we do about it?” There is a simple, threefold plan in place to put officials in Congress who will work for “We the People” and strive towards our best interests. Step One is to join with other Patriots. Uniting has historically proven to be the most powerful motivation for politicians to act on something. Step two is to raise your voice on critical issues. If there is one thing politicians are afraid of it is a lot of people supporting the same thing and letting everyone know about it. Step three is the icing on the cake. If an elected official continues to ignore the will of the people, get to the voting polls and elect a Patriot that will do the job the way the people tell them to on important critical issues. If we answer the question of what we will do about Congress with the word nothing, then it is a guaranteed fact that politicians will not change or do what is best for “We the People.” We cannot continue to gripe and complain about Congress if we don’t get our act together and run this Country like a good boss should. That is what makes America great. “We the People” are the boss, not a President, not Congress, not our judges. “WE THE PEOPLE,” we elect our officials to office!
