The government is overgrown, and it is time for a trimming. We the People support eliminating unnecessary government departments. Eliminating these agencies will save taxpayer dollars and return power to the people and the states. Congress must support and stand behind the President as he works to shrink bureaucracy in the federal government.
Liberal lawmakers are scrambling to protect government bureaucracy. Many of President Trump’s nominees are still going through the confirmation process, being slowed as much as possible by almost half of the serving Congressional officials. Why? Because these nominees will work tirelessly to cut government bloat, further the America First agenda, reduce government regulations, increase government accountability and transparency, and shrink government bureaucracy as much as is possible without Congressional codification. This resistance from one side of the political spectrum brings serious doubts about the agenda of these people. The focus of elected officials should be to make the American people’s lives better and our country stronger. Protecting government bureaucracy puts Americans last, not first. Preserving bureaucracy increases rules and regulations that hamper American economic growth, using the climate as an excuse. Bureaucracy raises costs for consumers because it can’t get a streamlined grasp on how to operate. When bureaucracy is thriving, innovation suffers, accountability dwindles, and taxpayer dollars are mismanaged. Bureaucracy grows, it feeds itself a hefty meal, as often as it isn’t hampered.
President Trump is trying to shrink government bureaucracy. The President’s goal is to make Americans’ lives better and our country stronger. Eliminating bloated government departments is critical to our country’s success. Government bureaucracy is unaccountable to the American people. It thrives off of the complexity and chaos it creates. “We the People” need Congress to work with President Trump to get his nominees confirmed and help shrink government agencies and departments. Congress has to codify the President’s decisions to shrink government bureaucracy and work tirelessly to ensure every department that reports to Congress is working for the best interest of the American people, not towards a political or personal agenda. Increased accountability and full transparency are mandatory for Congress and every department in government. It’s time for the American people to hold Congress and every government agency to the highest standard of accountability.
