Total Americans Voting
#16
“We the People” Are
Standing For Our Democracy

“We the People” are done. If you come after our families, communities, cities, nation, or our government we will vehemently work to remove you from the political landscape. We will not tolerate the undermining of our amazing country, the United States of America. We will not allow the perversion of our schools and families, and we will not allow the tainting of our freedom of speech and religion.

Advocates of both popular political parties have been saying Democracy is under attack, so at least Republican and Democrat politicians agree on something. But all jokes aside, the American people are more aligned than politicians would lead us to believe. Having a (D) or (R) after your voting candidate doesn’t make you evil or a bad person. It simply means you believe that person will pursue your goals in Congress. But ask yourself, ‘Is anyone happy with Congress?’ Our country has higher debt and spending than ever before. Illegal immigration and economic inflation are focal points of people’s lives. It’s hard for Congressional members to find common ground but they have common constituents… So, what is the problem? It’s the agenda’s being pursued. Democracy isn’t the goal of most elected officials. If Democracy were the goal, citizens wouldn’t find problems on their right, left, forward, and reverse, because Democracy would work for the people. Every direction the American people turn there are issues. Why? Agenda’s! Currently, government officials need a lot of money to keep their seats in Congress. Therefore, Congress largely caters to those with the money, and I’m sure you know it’s not “We the People.” This is true of both parties, but certainly stronger with some members than others. Democracy is under attack, but not from the direction most politicians steer you. It’s the rich elites, lobbyists, mainstream media organizations, and sadly even some political leaders that threaten the true power of “We the People.”

The question is “How do the people of the United States combat this undermining and destruction of our country and our values?” We must unite around the core traditional values that made America so great. We must stand together with one voice that overwhelms those trying to tear our country apart and we must get out at the polls and elect brand new ultra patriotic officials to office. This is the strategy to take power back, it’s to use the power we have, united. “We the People” must stand together and remain firm through the trials we will face to ensure our freedom and the freedom we hope for future generations to enjoy lives on. Who will stand?
