The United States is no stranger to trials and testing of its existence and freedom. Our core foundational principles have been attacked countless times by those who want to oppress freedom and control civilization. After our founding fathers gave us the Declaration of Independence, we faced the test of whether or not the USA would endure, and through the War of Independence, it did. During the Civil War, the United States faced the test of being split, but it prevailed. Today, we are faced with a new kind of threat to our country’s future and the memory of our past. Today’s threats are calculated attacks that are focused on undermining the core traditional values that made and have kept America great and tailored to brainwash the minds of the American people.

             In the United States, we are facing unparalleled attacks on our freedoms, our institutions, and our country’s identity. Illegal border crossings for decades, but with monstrously huge infractions during the Biden administration, have impacted our country in a detrimental way. In very recent times notable cases involving illegal immigrants have been widely publicized and these cases are a testament to the pain and crime that has been caused by allowing criminals to enter our country unvetted through open borders. On a larger scale, politicians are using these tragedies as a political cudgel against their political opponents, instead of making changes to address these problems. Many elected officials would infer they want open borders and that they stand with these criminals. Not to mention the voting discrepancies caused by counting illegals in the population census for congressional districts, or the lost American jobs, and the complications caused by illegals inserting themselves into the economy. We must deport illegals who have come into our country and in doing so broken our law to establish that our laws cannot be broken with repercussions.

             Terrorism is also an extremely important issue to remedy in the interest of our national security. Cyber warfare is becoming a threat we must address. Foreign influence is also an issue that has been scrutinized more closely, recently, because of national security and policy implications. There have been elected officials whose interest and perhaps even allegiance seem to lie elsewhere than America. There are sadly internal organizations that pose a grave threat to our national security, because of the rioting, looting, burning our cities, and shootings being funded or encouraged by these groups. Our government officials must take swift action to keep Americans safe and ensure our country’s freedom is preserved.

             Cartel activities, whether it be drug smuggling or human trafficking, seem to have amplified in the past four years under the Biden administration; this is concerning. For the health and safety of every American citizen it is imperative to stop the flow of illicit drugs and prevent the abduction of our people. The schooling system in our country is also a topic of discussion, and it ties to national security in a unique way as well. Should the next generation of Americans be brainwashed to believe socialism is acceptable or American values are old fashioned and inappropriate for a modern forum, we will, and in some situations even do, have a serious crisis to our national security.

             The attacks on the American people are incessant and appalling, but “We the People” can fight back. Not with weapons or physical attacks, but with words and the best ideas that have endured in the United States for almost 250 years.
