“We the People” are more than tired of seeing Congressional members and other elected officials bad mouth ICE agents for following and enforcing the law. We are fed up with the mainstream media going along with this narrative and co-accusing ICE agents of being hateful and instruments of the President. ICE and border patrol agents are doing their job to keep the American people safe and “We the People” stand with them.
The nonsense happening in recent days has brought politics and political violence to the forefront of many minds and discussions. It is therefore ultra-concerning to hear members of Congress make harmful comparisons and use aggravating language towards ICE and Law Enforcement.1 The harm in comparing ICE to the modern-day Gestapo is that someone might decide to take a shot at ICE, and low and behold there was a shooting at an ICE facility. Claiming ICE shouldn’t exist simply because you, as a Congressional official, don’t like the work they do to uphold the law is despicable.2 Demanding ICE agents unmask and comparing them to cowards if they don’t show all the violent criminals their identity, is a low place for an elected official to be.3 Frankly, the type of foolishness from some members of Congress should have everyone questioning their ability to continue serving the American people. The question is, “Is your Congressional Member and/or Senator making these kinds of absurd statements?” Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion, this is America, but for a political party that says they denounce the violence and attacks, they have a lot of negative, hateful speech coming from them. However, not everyone in the Democratic party shares these sentiments. There are those whose stance is with ICE and Law Enforcement, knowing Law Enforcement is simply protecting the United States and enforcing the law. In a time of what seems to be uncertainty perhaps the fog isn’t a result of not being aware of what’s happening but instead the conflicting accounts given by prominent elected officials. Each American citizen has a personal responsibility to ensure the person they vote for at every election will stand for what is right, what is best for America, and what is best for that citizen and the lives of every citizen that the elected official represents. How can you do that? The answer is simple. Join Majority Votes Patriots, vote every week on a critical issue, just like this, and see what your elected official has to say and is willing to do about how you feel on these critical issues. Stand with ICE and send illegal lawbreakers packing.
