Every vote on this issue: Fighting Socialism is a vote to show Congress that “We the People” do not want Socialism. We do not want Socialism under the guise of Democratic Socialism, and we do not want Socialist ideas in our government.
Congress – Keep Socialism and Socialist ideology out of the United States government.
There is a very fine balance between government authority and the freedom “We the People” enjoy in the United States. Socialism seeks to take away many of the individual freedoms and rights that we our given by God and have written in our US Constitution. An example of this is that Socialism seeks to replace private ownership and production with a public/government ‘collective’ ownership of the means to produce necessary items. Another example is the loss of free markets and individual economic choices. Socialism takes control of markets, regulations, and/or planning of how the economy will operate. The lie of Socialism is the promise that with it comes equality for all and the common good of everyone. Socialism limits individuals from building based on merit and inevitably brings the quality of life down. In a society where ‘everything is free’ there is no incentive to work, grow, and be prosperous as an individual. Therefore, over time, said country or society stagnates and fails to be able to meet anything near the best quality of living. In the United States we wonder why economics looks so bleak at times. Part of the answer to this question is the socialistic tendencies we have seen and allowed to go unchecked in our government. The first issue is one “We the People” are solely responsible for. We elect Socialist leaning officials. Some Americans have put people in Congress who believe that Socialism is the answer to our problems and it is incumbent on every citizen to be aware of the fact, Socialism ruins any country. If Americans continue to vote for Socialist leaning candidates, our country will continue to have the problems Socialism brings. The ideologies these elected officials take into Congress bring bad policies, larger government, fewer freedoms (in the name of equality), countless government regulations, and many more problems.
The Democratic Socialist of America website says the following:
“Capitalism is a system designed by the owning class to exploit the rest of us for their own profit. We must replace it with democratic socialism, a system where ordinary people have a real voice in our workplaces, neighborhoods, and society.” “We want to collectively own the key economic drivers that dominate our lives, such as energy production and transportation. We want the multiracial working class united in solidarity instead of divided by fear. We want to win “radical” reforms like single-payer Medicare for All, defunding the police/refunding communities, the Green New Deal, and more as a transition to a freer, more just life.”
This ideology is radically opposed to everything America is and everything our Constitution protects. First of all, capitalism provides every citizen with an equal opportunity to succeed based on merit, hard work, and perseverance. Capitalism rewards ingenuity and dedication. This is the reason Socialist hate capitalism. In a Socialist economy, government gets to manage economics, this means no free markets. In a Socialist system the government supplies Medicare, implements ridiculous, stifling, and unnecessary climate regulations, and defunds law enforcement. The craziest part of the website’s statement is that it starts with a bold face lie. “Capitalism is a system designed by the owning class to exploit the rest of us for their own profit.” In a truly capitalist system people aren’t elevated for any reason other than their hard work, dedication, merit, talent, commitment, perseverance, fortitude, and their will to keep going, no matter what. In a Socialist system everyone, except leadership, is dropped to the same level of failure, poverty, misery, fear, submission, and dependence on the government. Socialism means that you can’t get ahead individually no matter how hard you push, how many hours you put in, how many sacrifices you make. In a Socialist ‘Utopia’ you’re always stuck at the same level as the lazy, complacent, pitiful, unsuccessful person; you can thank Socialism for that. Really, defund the police, implement the green new deal, “transition” to a ‘freer’ more ‘just’ life. The United States has been around for almost 250 years, with ONE form of government, a Constitutional Republic with power vested in “We the People.” Thanks to the divine Creator and our founding father’s dependence on Him, the US Constitution is the longest running, codified, still in use, Constitution in the world. America was not founded and has not survived as a Socialist system. Why then are we watching our country be taken over without raising our united voices in defense of our freedom, our rights, and our nations heritage.
The United States was founded on capitalist principles, but its economic system has always been a mixed economy that incorporates both private ownership and government regulation. The belief from our founders was that government’s role should be limited in scope. The Tenth Amendment states: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. It was never the intent of our country’s founding fathers to give the government unlimited power, for economic, social, or other respective decisions. Rather, the Constitution sets laws to follow, as a guide to the country, to keep freedoms and rights intact, to punish crime, and to prevent practices the founders new would eventually cripple and decay the country. We are now faced with a choice. Individually, locally, and nationally, we are faced with a choice to stand idly by as the vocal minority steals our country or unite with fellow Patriots at majorityvotes.com and make sure that across our nation Patriots protect and defend the freedoms and rights God gave to us and that our country’s Constitution protects.
