There is a distinct lack of Congressional concern regarding the failure to display transparency to the American people. While not commonly acknowledged, being in elected office used to be a choice to serve and sacrifice, it was to the men who held office following the American War for Independence, a solemn duty. In the days of our nation’s youth, traveling from your home to the capital and speaking on behalf of your fellow countrymen was not to be taken lightly, but was a duty to be performed with the highest level of competence and resolve to ensure freedom remained intact, the business of the nation was conducted wisely, and the honor of our nation at home and abroad was secured. After the many failures of the King of Great Britain, our founding fathers knew that it was of great importance that our nation’s government be established to protect the freedom and sovereignty of every American citizen. The integrity, honor, and faith that our founding fathers displayed was a key part of the reason the United States has survived as a nation. Today’s “politicians” care little for the people but instead seek to profit financially and grow in personal fame. The accolades that current members of elected office desire are to boost their ego and elevate their status. We cannot go back in time, nor would we want to, but if just a small sliver of the pain and suffering the founding fathers agonized through could be communicated to each and every American, one could only hope every person would have a sense of disgust at the behavior that currently represents our Congress. The greatest nation of pioneers, inventors, … and who have we chosen to speak on our behalf in Congress? Have we fallen so far as a society that we will tolerate the filth and debacle that spews out of the hallowed halls of our once respected chambers of Congress.

Some in our society still uphold the banner, but the ranks of the faithful are thinning and with them goes the message of our history. Some even now have given their life for the cause of TRUTH AND FREEDOM, I think of Charlie Kirk. No one person can stand forever alone. You cannot fight and win the battle alone and you cannot expect someone else to persevere alone. But what will you do? Where will you turn? Every direction the enemy is telling us we have been defeated, we must accept the fate that lies before us. Somehow, deep down, you know, the fight is never over until you give up and stop fighting. Congress isn’t unaccountable because it was created that way, it is unaccountable because “We the People” have abdicated our responsibility. The news pushes their agenda, politicians spread their lies, and the truth is suppressed. Division is our foes’ secret weapon. But, in some of our nation’s most trying times, “We the People” have come together, against all odds to battle through our struggles, together, to achieve great results, together, to persevere, TOGETHER! Now, we are faced with a challenge not so deeply devastating as 9/11, not so potent as the Great Depression, not so blatantly egregious as the wars we have fought, but nonetheless, so serious. It is not our nation’s proudest moment to admit that we have turned Congress into a largely self-inflated, pompous group of individuals by not holding them accountable for the failures and mistakes they consistently commit, but it is the right thing to do. “We the People” must take responsibility and right the wrong we have allowed. Not alone, but TOGETHER! It takes the strength of every American, who will help me right this wrong? Please share this issue and majorityvotes.com with everyone you know.
