Congressional spending, above revenue, has led to massive deficits and trillions of dollars’ worth of national debt. Now Americans are certainly faced with economic concerns as prices continue to inflate year over year and the cost of living at a middle-class standard has increased. Congress has a duty to make wise and responsible fiscal decisions. Decisions that will boost the economic freedom America has and in no way harm the ability to pursue freedom in the market. The solution to the economic problem isn’t increased government assistance, spending on welfare, or regulation. The solution is limited government, deregulation, removing bureaucratic involvement, a balanced federal budget with no overspending, and eliminating the over 39 trillion dollars of debt that incompetence in Congress has caused.

Likewise, allowing millions of foreigners to illegally enter our country has caused a great burden to our American economy. Elected officials must return to the rule of law. Activist judges must be rooted out, and our judicial system must prioritize and ensure that law and order is valued to deter criminals from harming the economy through their criminal activities. The United States has to refocus on the traditional values that since our founding have been the strength and source of economic freedom that we enjoy.
