The United States of America has been the greatest beacon of freedom in the world for centuries. One of the most prominent aspects of our nation is the economic prosperity and blessing that each American is afforded, especially when compared to foreign nations. The amount of luxury and amenities we enjoy are seemingly endless. But someone in our nation’s past worked tirelessly to give those living today the opportunity and foundation to pursue the American economic freedom we now enjoy. Sadly, the heritage of work ethic, morality, care, and dedication to individual liberty are under attack. Socialistic ideologies are rapidly spreading throughout the United States and have already infected Congress. The harmful practices and policies of Socialism are causing great grief to the American people. The increased growth we are seeing in federal government and bureaucracy should be extremely concerning to “We the People.” The increase of government supported initiatives has historically drained the economy of most nations creating a government controlled and monitored existence, one Americans certainly do not want. What must happen is a purging of those in Congress who support these anti-American values, a purge through our election process. Individuals who serve in Congress must admire and support the traditional values that have made America economically prosperous. Free markets, limited government, and individual liberty are crucial components to regaining economic success and reduced prices across our nation.
