The United States is facing a monumental crisis. Terrorism has manifested itself in an ugly way and shutting it down is critical. The internal attacks on our values and laws as well as the increased physical attacks on our home soil merit Congress’s immediate action. Congress bears much responsibility for mishandling these threats and “We the People” call upon Congress to work tirelessly to defeat the attacks on our nation and the American people.
The United States of America is under attack. Our homeland is facing threats far greater and more dangerous than ever before. Should “We the People” stand on the sideline and excuse inaction, our country will cease to exist as we know it. It’s time to stop the attacks against America!
Attack: (The Attempts to Destroy, Dilute, and Demonize America’s Traditional Values)
The subject of the traditional values of our nation must never be taken lightly or held in contempt as old and antique. The United States of America exists today because of the steadfast resolve and unwavering commitment to these core values and ideals. For centuries the enemies of the United States have attacked these values. In modern times these attacks have intensified, with the enemy utilizing a new method of destruction. Knowing that if the American people begin to question or despise these values the downfall of the nation would be inevitable and simply a matter of time, the method of attack has become subtler, more seductive, and increasingly strategic. These attacks manifest in three primary forms: demonize, dilute, and finally destroy. Number one: demonize the traditional values and the foundational beliefs of our nation. This demonization guides people to believe that truth and right are evil and wrong. Number two: dilute the values and beliefs that are harder to demonize. This dilution seeks to corrupt truth with error in an effort to blur the lines between right and wrong. And if one and two are ineffective or fail, the ultimate goal, number three: destroy the very core of the traditional value and tear down all respect or belief in said value. This isn’t a plausible system. This is an in motion, current, active set of attacks on our traditional values. Foundational values such as Christianity and the freedom to worship unhampered and safe from government overreach, marriage and the accurate scientific and Biblical truth about God’s design for man and women, secure borders and why it is imperative that the United States retains international autonomy, protecting innocent life as soon as conception occurs, the rule of law and punishment for crime, proof of citizenship to vote for elected offices in the United States, no perverse and immoral ideology taught in schools, a strong and tough military, limited government, hard work instead of Socialism, no men in women’s sports or locker rooms, capitalism, the second amendment, and government’s original purpose; these values are under increased and constant attacks. This is by no means an exhaustive list of traditional values and merely attempts to convey a small sample of the massive campaign to distort truth and destroy the foundation of our nation.
Attack: (Corrupting Elected Offices Across America)
The integrity of elected office must remain intact. For Congressional members and the President, it is imperative that the example to the nation be honesty, transparency, consistency, and accountability to the people. The past five years have shown how divided, but united, Congress really is. While externally Congressional members accuse each other and denounce the actions of the ‘opposing’ political party, internally, little is accomplished or achieved for “We the People.” The push for Socialism in our nation is concerning and disheartening. Not that many decades ago, as a country, we were vehemently fighting Socialism. We recognized its evil lies and malicious intent. Now, there are those who have gained political power and they openly espouse Socialist ideals and governance policies. Federal elected officials’ decisions flood down in catastrophic or beneficial torrents upon the American people. In direct or indirect ways Congress and the President affect every facet of American life. From financial and economic effects to punishing criminals and protecting law abiding citizens, Congress duties and responsibilities are to be taken seriously and with great care by each Congressional member.
Attack: (The Physical Destruction of American History & Heritage)
As a nation, we are wayyyyy past discussion about tolerance and acceptance. The destruction of our national monuments and statues, and the vandalism of our nation’s memorials is a crime, but more than a crime, an act of terrorism against the United States. Over the past nearly a decade the attacks on our nation’s history, historical monuments, and the statues of certain instrumental individuals in our nation’s history has brought shame and reproach to the United States and our national image to the world. Although some of our history we are less proud of than other parts, it is still our history, and it still happened. Statues of historical figures such as Christopher Columbus, Junípero Serra, Juan de Oñate and Kit Carson, have been torn down or removed. The statues of others such as Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Ulysses S. Grant, and Francis Scott Key have faced vandalism or removal in the wake of outcries by those who misunderstand or hate the meaning of America. In late 2020, the Huffington Post reported that over a hundred Confederate symbols had been “removed, relocated or renamed.” This is a tragedy. The civil war happened and it was a terrible time in our history, but it was an important part of the progress and cultural turning point in our nation’s history. It is crucial that we remember the events that have brought us to this moment in time, and that we appreciate each aspect of what many before us fought for and against. Each piece of our nation’s history is worth consideration, the good and the bad. The timeless adage, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,” is an important reminder that we should appreciate the lessons of the past to avoid the mistakes of the future. You can’t learn from the mistakes of the past if you refuse to acknowledge it was a part of your nation’s heritage. It’s not a celebration of mistakes; but rather a recognition of errors made and the distance we’ve traveled to make it right. The continued political abuse of the incorrect and hurtful actions of the past is wrong. Those who seek to tear down our heritage, do so in an effort to expunge the true meaning of America.
Attack: (The Terrorist Attacks Happening in Our Nation)
It’s happening, it’s not infrequent, and it’s blatant. What is it? Terrorism in our nation. Terrorism has been around for decades but sadly it has increased at extremely high levels. In 2023, the GAO reported:1 “over the last 10 years, domestic terrorism-related investigations have grown by 357%.” To the nation’s shame, some people inside our country are fighting against preventing these crimes and holding these criminals accountable. Americans have but to look at who is advocating for open borders, what cities have high crime and who leads them, who cares more about “social justice” than the rule of law and punishment for crime, and who supports rioting in the streets to understand who is firmly against the rise of crime and who is providing a venue for it. The following articles, by the FBI, paint a somber picture surrounding the consequence and regularity of terrorism in our nation. In nearly two months, the FBI has reported over eight separate accounts of attacks on our nation. It is time for accountability in the form of PUNISHMENT for crime and terrorism as well as mitigation of risks against Americans.
