Congress has moved further and further away from common sense and reasonable objective thinking. Americans are witnesses to the failures of Congress. The smoke screen of using political issues to divide Americans is clearing up and “We the People” are going to hold Congressional members accountable for their part in this devious charade.
The question must be asked: “Why does Congress have such a major problem being honest and evaluating the facts of a situation without bias?” It is the duty of every federal elected official to evaluate the positive and negative results of decisions and policies they would like to implement. Driving policy by a party agenda or personal preference is dangerous and often leads to legislation that is not in the best interest of the American people. Unfortunately, what usually happens in Congress is that legislation that benefits large donors and lobbyist groups gets passed, while America first legislation is stalled or shut down completely. The common denominator across all of Congress is money. It currently takes each of the incumbent and prospective Congressional officials a tremendous amount of funding to win elections. Millions to billions of dollars are spent every election cycle, nine times out of ten, with the goal of maintaining or gaining political power. Common sense is thrown out the door in an effort to please the mega donors and warrant the favor of those with the checkbooks. Guaranteeing continued wins at every election cycle has become the normal mainstream process for Congressional members. To even the casual observer, it is clear Congressional members care more about winning their elections and maintaining party power than committing their time in office to America first goals and letting their Congressional records dictate their election results. Americans are not as widely split as Congressional members insinuate in the news and during press briefings. Here’s the thing, “We the People” have instituted little to no accountability and for their failures, Congressional members have received no true consequence.
For decades the American people have had no divide over eliminating spending waste, no divide over financial management, no problem with equal rights, no problem with people practicing their religious beliefs freely, and the general understanding that secure borders means preventing illegal aliens from entering at will. These are not divisive issues; they are America first, common-sense positions. But these positions are not popular nor acceptable to the attempted socialistic takeover of our government and our nation. If the American people remain united on these issues, then those attempting to subvert and destroy our foundational pillars will not succeed. In an effort to circumvent the historical united strength of the people, those with nefarious intentions have installed a system of division, chaos, and distrust. Sadly, this mess has caused many Americans to feel that the “political” side of life is just too much for them. Statements like “I try to stay out of politics” or “I really can’t make any difference by myself; I’m just one person” are common. All too often these statements are made to excuse inaction and not being involved. If the people who are moral, honest, and Patriotic chose to ‘stay out of politics,’ then I ask, who is left to fill the void; those who are Anti-America, those whose ideals are the exact opposite of our nation’s founding principles. Some Congressional members are unwittingly caught up in this cycle and become a symptom of a larger problem. Others are just using Congressional status for power and privileges. But there are those who are undoubtedly wiser to the villainous agenda at work and align themselves more closely with the change in our government’s leadership dynamic. To combat this agenda, the American people have a moral duty and a Patriotic obligation to elect to office those who hold to traditional values and are closely in tune with goals that will benefit the American people and stop attempts to corrupt our government or subvert our nation’s values. But elections are not the limit of our strength. Standing with firm resolve on every crucial issue that arises will quickly quelch any false or malicious narratives that the enemy may seek to spread. It has never been of greater importance that “We the People” stand for the truth and what is right than now!
