Securing Elections

Across our nation, elected officials are dodging election integrity. Something has to be done about election security and Majority Votes Patriots are demanding Congress take action based on “We the People’s” instruction. Pass the SAVE Act! Only United States citizens should vote in our elections.

The election process in the United States is a core pillar that establishes the people’s direct control over who will represent us in our nation’s government. Our country is now faced with a question. Will “We the People” hold elected officials to the preservation and highest integrity in our elections or will we allow the steady decline in the security and standard of protection over our election process.

John Adams, the second President of the United States, gave an admonition to the American people during his inaugural address in 1797.

“We should be unfaithful to ourselves if we should ever lose sight of the danger to our Liberties if anything partial or extraneous should infect the purity of our free, fair, virtuous, and independent elections. If an election is to be determined by a majority of a single vote, and that can be procured by a party through artifice or corruption, the Government may be the choice of a party for its own ends, not of the nation for the national good.” - John Adams

What was he saying?

  • First. There is always a danger to free, fair, virtuous, and independent elections.
  • Second. It is “We the People’s” duty to be aware and take action if such dangers threaten free and fair elections.
  • Third. If any political party or parties begin to dominate elections through corruption or lies, “We the People” must be sure to end such a grasp on power.
  • Fourth. It is the responsibility of the American people to elect principled individuals to office and to unelect those whose goals and values do not align with the Constitution, the will of the people, and the security of our liberties.

The United States is at a pivotal moment. Will the people we have elected to federal office implement the SAVE act; an act that would require voters in our federal elections to prove their United States citizenship to be able to vote for our government’s members. This shouldn’t even be a discussion. Absolutely, Congress must pass the SAVE act. Increasing election security and integrity doesn’t mean eliminating any eligible, legal, citizens from voting. It means making it extremely hard for those with nefarious agendas to have influence in our elections. It means guaranteeing ineligible, non-citizens, and foreign nations are not having any impact on our elections. The United States election process is the fundamental block upon which the American people’s voice in government is built. Neither “We the People” nor our Congressional elected officials can allow that foundational pillar to be made worthless by non-citizen voting, foreign interference, or election fraud. Standing up for election security with a united front is mandatory action by “We the People.”

"If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed." - Thomas Jefferson (The 3rd President of the United States)
