Americans are upset with certain recent Supreme Court rulings, and rightfully so. Decisions such as allowing Birthright Citizenship, preventing USPS Mail-In-Ballot security measures, and reversing tariffs, are devastating to American security and national interest. But Congress can solve each of these problems with legislation. “We the People” insist that our Congressional officials resolve each of these issues immediately.
The Supreme Court has come under increased scrutiny in recent days. Some of the Court’s recent decisions have ruled in disagreement with the sentiment of the United States core foundation and traditional values. The reasoning certain Justices have used to justify the courts’ rulings is usually the lack of clarity in the law or Constitutional amendments previous Congress’s have passed. Poorly written law and Constitutional amendments have left the Supreme Court with doubt or room to rule in a manner that may injure the well-being of our nation or the American people. Such decisions have recently manifested themselves in the form of the Supreme Court invalidating President Trump’s executive order that ended birthright citizenship, the courts’ decision to revoke President Trump’s tariffs imposed under IEEPA, and the courts’ ruling that prevented the Trump backed implementation by the USPS of stricter security measures for election mail-in-ballots. Whether the court ruled correctly or incorrectly, the outcome is injurious to Americans and our nation. It cannot be left unsaid, threats to the Supreme Court Justices’ lives and families play a nasty mental game full of anxiety and concern that can be extremely harmful to clear and full focus rulings. Supreme Court Justices Elena Kagan and Amy Coney Barrett made a rare joint appearance before Congress on July 14, 2026, during which they expressed heightened security concerns after increased threats and incident occurrences. Congress has the ability to immediately remedy the problems and the stress with clear and concise legislation. The power to write the law remains with Congress, not the Supreme Court. Congress could address every single one of these problems. Alleviating Americans’ serious security concerns surrounding election integrity, addressing the international ripping-off of America by foreign nations, and the 100% anti-American allowance of birthright citizenship, these are problems that have a solution with Congressional legislation. The burden of addressing the security crisis and loopholes that are exploited in our law can and should be remedied by Congress, without delay.
